Vic Shayne, PhD

Vic Shayne, PhD, was graduated in 1978 from the University of Florida and received his post graduate degrees from the University of Natural Medicine, specializing in Clinical Nutrition. The research in Dr. Shayne’s book Whole Food Nutrition serves the basis for NutriPlex Formulas’ clinical line of whole food supplements. Based on his research and years as a practitioner, Dr. Shayne has published several books on natural health care, including Whole Food Nutrition, an evidence-based treatise on the benefits of foods over isolated vitamin pills, and The Super Foods Diet, which details the merits of scientifically-researched foods for healing. Dr. Shayne has written more than 200 articles over the years. He is personally committed to organic and biodynamic foods, chemical free lifestyles, natural healing, and mind-body healthcare.

Liz Westinghouse, RD

Liz Westinghouse, RD, was graduated from Russell Sage College in 2006, and then completed her Dietetic Internship at SUNY Oneontain in 2007. She has practiced healthcare in numerous settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, wellness clinics, and private practice. Because of Liz’s clinical work and devotion to her patients, she was the only Dietitian voted onto Hudson Valley Parent Magazine’s Top Docs and Practitioners in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Liz specializes in gastrointestinal disorders, infertility and female health, inflammation, orthopedic disorders and inflammatory disorders, and is passionate when it comes to educating her patients and clients about choosing food over of synthetic chemicals and “quick fixes.”

George Siegfried, DC

Dr. Siegfried was graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 1981. His earlier patients included dancers and performers in many Broadway shows in the San Francisco Ballet. He then practiced in Italy at the Orthopedic Medical Center for Sports and Physical Therapy in Pisa, Italy, caring for athletes from the Italian Olympic Team Training Center in Tirrenia, shortly after which he was invited by the athletes, coaches, and Directors of the Italian Olympic Committee to be the Chiropractor for the Track and Field Team. Leaving the Orthopedic Clinic in Pisa in 1983, Dr. Siegfried treated Track & Field athletes, along with other athletes, until the end of the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles. For more than 25 years, Dr. Siegfried has been teaching patients the benefits of a Healthy Back, Neck, and Nervous System and Whole Food Nutrition.

Victoria Bruce, RN

Victoria was graduated from Pasadena City College in 1988 and is an AD, RN. She was graduated from the Lactation Institute for specialization in Lactation 1993 and received International Board certification in 1989. Victoria began working at Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park 1998 as their Lactation Consultant and has helped more than 12,000 mother/baby couples over the years. Victoria is committed to pursuing more healthful lifestyles with whole food nutrition for prenatal and nursing mothers.
